Stop Outsourcing Your Power: Embrace the Taboo, Unleash Your Truth, and Get Unstoppable
Own your desires, ditch the script, and watch your world transform.
The beauty of being human is not about what comes out of your mouth — it’s all about the energy humming beneath it all.
Seriously, you can say the most enlightened things in the world, but if your vibe isn’t your truth, it’s like trying to sell ice cream in a snowstorm — no one’s buying it.
We’re all out here cultivating energy, our vibe, in our gardens of life whether we realize it or not.
And that energy is showing up, manifesting, in our lives in ways that can make us stop dead in our tracks and ask, “Wait… who am I anymore?”
Well, that’s the point!
If you’re fixated on keeping up appearances, I hate to break it to you, but you’re probably one of the most miserable souls alive.
And yes, we see you — the ones who’ve freed themselves from that nonsense.
Bravo!
The only people still clapping for you are your compadres — the ones stuck in the same old show playing that game of charades, shuffling along in the same misery parade.
And honey, it’s a tired act.
Now, let’s dive into the juiciness, shall we? Ever notice there’s certain things you just can’t ignore?
You’re drawn to them like a magnet, and before you know it, they consume your thoughts like that one song that gets stuck in your head no matter how hard you try to shake it off.
And hey, it’s all well and good if this magnetic pull fits into your little societal box — if it’s “acceptable,” if it ticks all the boxes of who you’re supposed to be according to, well, everyone else.
The family’s happy, the friends are happy, your social media followers are happy.
And yet, deep inside, you feel empty. Why?
Because those hidden parts of you, the parts that don’t fit the script?
They’re still there, whispering, no matter how many cocktails you down, prayers you whisper, or smoke clouds you blow.
You can’t silence those parts forever, love.
It’s like giving your toddler the cold shoulder. You can try, but that little rebel is gonna throw a tantrum eventually.
Ignoring your truth?
Oh, that’s a recipe for slow, simmering misery.
Why?
Because life won’t let you run from yourself. You can try, but it’ll catch up.
So what happens when you finally start cultivating your truth and — oh, the horror — you find yourself drawn to something society deems “taboo”?
Maybe it’s pole dancing, like me — at least where I’m from, it can still be seen as taboo.
And yes, I am excited.
Maybe it’s something else that makes the peanut gallery clutch their pearls.
Who cares?
The judgments will come, but those hidden desires are yours.
They aren’t going anywhere.
And those notorious twins, judgment and jealousy?
Baby, they’re your best friends in disguise.
Think of them as the universe’s sexy little messengers. Whenever those green-eyed temptresses show up, they’re only pointing you toward something you secretly want for yourself.
Jealous of someone’s life? Good.
Judging someone’s choices that have nothing to do with you? Even better.
That’s your sign!
Embrace it, let it empower you, and stop acting like it’s the devil on your shoulder.
This isn’t something they teach in Sunday school, babe, because the truth is far too liberating.
Too powerful.
Stop worrying about how things look.
You’ll never really know yourself until you let go of what things should look like in your life.
That five-year plan? Toss it.
The Patriarchal programming you were born into? Toss it harder.
Life isn’t some boring straight line you draft in Excel to impress the suits upstairs.
It’s a wild, seductive rollercoaster with twists and curves you never saw coming, meant to be ridden moment by delicious moment.
So, stop pretending you can outsmart life’s chaos and just let it unfold.
You’ll never control how anything manifests, and that’s the beauty of it.
We’re so obsessed with our appearances, with the physical world — don’t get me wrong, it’s sexy, beautiful, and alluring — but it’s not the whole story.
Here’s the kicker: most people are scared out of their minds to embrace this.
I mean, let’s talk about me for a minute.
My most important relationship?
It’s with me.
My biggest priority?
Pouring my energy and intention into my creative dreams.
My creative path comes before any romantic partner, family, friendships, or professional grind.
That’s my baby. That’s what I nurture.
I protect my creativity like a mother lion protecting her cubs. And no one — not a man, not society — can take that from me.
Because that’s my truth.
If I didn’t know this, if I wasn’t in tune with what nourishes me, I’d be chasing all the distractions of people, places, objects, and men, wasting my precious time.
Eventually, societal pressure and patriarchal forces would push me toward “settling down,” trying to fit me into the traditional roles of wife or mother that I was never meant to play.
My truth?
I am an artist, first and foremost, and my creative power is my purpose.
I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams in the flesh, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
So if you’re out here denying your truth, running from what you really want, I’ve got news for you: you’re just manifesting the life you think you should have, not the one you actually desire.
Manifesting is simple. Look around.
Everything in your life?
You brought it here.
You.
Not some distant religious figure, not your parents, not the government.
You.
And until you take responsibility for that, you’ll stay stuck in someone else’s script.
But the beautiful thing is, at any moment, you can rewrite it.
You can always start again.
When you finally face that mirror, accept both your light and your shadows, the things deemed “acceptable” and the things deemed “taboo,” and choose to love, understand, and stand by yourself anyway, that’s when true freedom begins.
Oh honey, that’s the ticket.
You can stop chasing validation from others — partners, careers, kids, society — because guess what?
It’ll never be enough if you don’t validate yourself first.
We’ve been sold this lie that we have to control everything. What a burden, right?
Thankfully, that’s not our job, babe.
The physical world? It’s a gift, meant to delight and surprise us, to knock our socks off.
We’re supposed to unwrap the gift of life in order to enjoy it, not script it.
Trying to dictate the reality we see is very exhausting, and if you’re still doing it, aren’t you tired yet?
I know I was.
Life isn’t about controlling the outcome.
It’s about choosing your truth and being ready to fully embrace whatever comes from following that truth — no filters, just your authentic self, not the version curated for others you’re trying to please.
Because that’s where the power is — the power to transform anything, right here, right now.
So if your dreams feel far off, if your truth feels too risky, too taboo, too anything — embrace it.
That’s the real key.
So pick it up.
Dust it off.
Clean up the rust.
Then take a good look at that key and decide what you want to do with it.
And take full ownership.
Stop outsourcing your power to anyone — be it the government, the media, or some colonized idea of divinity being sold to you.
Because once you do?
Everything changes. You become unstoppable.
Because at the end of the day, they’re just societal institutions and imposed belief systems you’ve agreed to.
You’ve agreed that “they’re right” over what anyone else says, including yourself.
They thrive on keeping you disempowered and uninformed.
And once you’re not?
They won’t stand a chance.
