It’s time to own your shit.

You’ve got to carve your own path, baby, because let’s be real — there’s no other way to survive anymore.

And I know that sounds as loaded as a Kardashian closet, but it’s the truth.

Times are changing faster than TikTok trends, and a lot of us are stuck in the past, wondering about our futures, and then we wonder why we’re so depressed and anxious.

We’re living in a world with more options than a buffet, but we’re still chewing on the same old gristle.

It’s time to ask yourself: Are you happy or not?

Now, don’t go getting all defensive on me — this isn’t a trick question.

It’s more like a “choose your own adventure” situation. If you’re happy, fantastic!

But if you’re not, the real question is why not?

In the western world, we’re swimming in privileges so deep, you could drown if you’re not careful.

We’ve got running water, clean water at that, Wi-Fi dripping from every corner like some kind of digital honey, and the world’s information at our fingertips.

Yet here we are, complaining like it’s our full-time job.

Let’s pause for a second and take a look around.

We have access to so much — free education, opportunities galore, even Mother Nature is there offering her splendors without charging a dime.

So what are we actually complaining about?

This isn’t about comparing ourselves to folks in other parts of the world or feeling “privileged” because of some kind of hierarchical nonsense.

No, it’s about realizing how abundant and blessed we already are, especially in this land called America, where freedom flows like the Nile and opportunities are as plentiful as Starbucks locations.

Now, I’m not here to preach, but it’s high time we all took a long, hard look in the mirror.

A lot of us are grumbling about our relationships, our jobs, our lives.

And look, I’m all for venting — everyone needs a good rant now and then — but if those things can be easily changed, what’s the point of all that yapping?

At some point, you’ve got to realize you’re the common denominator in every situation you’re whining about.

Yes, sweetheart, it’s you.

It’s not about carrying some heavy burden of self-honesty, like you’re Atlas holding up the sky.

No, being honest with yourself is a joy — it’s a revelation, a chance to really get clear on what you do and don’t desire, what lights you up and what drags you down.

And once you’ve got that clarity, it’s time to pivot.

It’s not about shame, blame, or whatever nonsense society has shoved into your brain.

It’s about recognizing the responsibility to shape your life lies squarely in your hands — and guess what? That’s not a bad thing.

But here’s where it gets sticky.

So many of us are terrified of even an ounce of responsibility, an ounce of accountability for ourselves and the world around us.

We weren’t born to be mindless consumers, gobbling up entertainment, content, and products with no regard for what we’re actually connecting with.

We’re meant to use everything at our disposal to our advantage, and to the advantage of others.

We’re meant to look around at the world and collectively decide what we want to keep building and what we need to tear down, right now.

These are the conversations we need to be having, the ones that matter.

Everything else? It’s just noise, distraction, bullshit.

We’re living in a time where yet another saucy election year is upon us, where the next four years will bring shifts and changes we can barely predict.

And yet, instead of engaging in meaningful dialogue about what we want, we’re swept up in the trauma and drama of it all.

We’re so numb to real conversations, heart-to-heart exchanges that aren’t about whose side is better or who’s right and wrong.

Fuck the sides!

We need to remember we’re one collective human body, united in our shared experience on this planet.

It’s time to highlight and embrace the values we love, to be truthful about what we want to continue participating in, and what we’re ready to stop funding with our time, energy, and attention.

Because when you strip it all down, that’s what it’s really about — where we choose to invest our resources.

And if we’re not having these real, raw conversations, then what the hell are we doing?

Let’s face it, the lack of real conversations is infuriating.

We’re trapped in echo chambers, endlessly circulating the same tired talking points.

Do we even feel like anything is real anymore?

I mean, I barely trust Google to give me a straight answer these days, the search engines are so cluttered with junk.

So here’s the deal: You can’t be like anyone else.

You’ve got to own your own shit, carve your own path, and stop letting yourself get dragged down by the noise.

It’s time to be honest, to have the real conversations, and to recognize the insane abundance we’re already living in.

Because when you do, when you start to see life as it truly is, you’ll realize you’ve got all the tools you need to create something beautiful, something uniquely yours.

And isn’t that what it’s all about?
